InfoHandler Biographies

Steve Daugherty, CEO
Steve Daugherty has over 19 years of leadership experience in the information technology field in the government, state, local, and business community.  He began his career as an officer in the United States Air Force and has excelled in leadership positions throughout his career.  Experiences and capabilities include P&L management, program management of multi-million dollar accounts, management of geographically dispersed teams, business development, execution and management, communications systems design and implementations. He has also served as an information technology consultant to a large school district in North Carolina.

After joining InfoHandler.com he led a development/systems team to research, plan and implement a Web based Medicaid software solution and electronic billing service. Mr. Daugherty also planned, organized and implemented the design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of software programs, products and services nationwide. He was selected by the Board to serve as the CEO in 2004.  Steve has a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University.

Tom Crumbaugh, President
Since founding the company in 1994, Tom has been a leader in software development and online businesses for the K-12 exceptional education community. In these businesses, he has demonstrated a natural ability to clearly identify and articulate various educational program needs, and then to successfully model those needs in subsequent software solutions and business services.

Prior to founding InfoHandler, Dr. Crumbaugh had over 25 years experience as a teacher, counselor, college professor and school administrator. Dr. Crumbaugh continues to provide leadership to InfoHandler.com as the company president; he primarily focuses on sales, training and customer support/relations.

Tom has a B.A., M.A. (1968), and second M.A. (1970) from the University of Kentucky. He received his doctorate from Montana State University in 1973.
